Disability Employment Services (DES)

The DES service is funded by the Commonwealth Government and provides people with disability, injury or health conditions with assistance to prepare for, find and keep a job.

Workways provides two types of DES programs.

  • Disability Management Services – is for people with a disability, illness or injury who need the help of an employment service but do not expect to need long term support in the workplace.
  • Employment Support Service – is for people with a permanent disability and an assessed need for longer term, regular, ongoing support in the workplace.

Workways offers disability employment support in over 50 locations across Eastern Australia.
